The Borough of Quakertown will provide single-stream recycling. Single-stream recycling means you don’t have to separate your recyclables. Recycling is collected every week on the same day as your trash pick-up. Both solid waste and recycling containers should be placed at the curb at the same time and removed from the curb as soon as possible. Recycling containers must be labeled with recycling symbol. Recycling stickers can be picked up at Borough Hall.

All office paper, white paper, colored paper, newspaper (bags and strings removed), magazines (all types), catalogs (all types), phonebooks, junk mail, paperboard, tissue boxes, heavy weight folders, paper towel and toilet paper rolls, shredded paper (only in paper bags), paper milk, juice and soy milk cartons (emptied), books: all soft cover, hard covers should be ripped off, empty paper coffee cups (plastic lids removed).
