KIDS CAMP 2026

Welcome to K.I.D.S. Camp: A Summer Tradition Since 1972!

For over 50 years, K.I.D.S. Camp has been the go-to summer experience for children in our community. Starting with just 20 campers per day in its early years, the program has grown into a beloved summer staple, now serving over 200 children annually. Our Parks and Recreation Department works tirelessly to create a safe, engaging, and joyful experience that brings kids back year after year.

What is K.I.D.S. Camp?

K.I.D.S. Camp is a seven-week, all-day outdoor camp designed for children aged 7 to 12. From the moment they arrive until the end of the day, campers dive into a world of adventure, creativity, and exploration.

In 2026, K.I.D.S. Camp will present programming designed to provide your child with a safe and fun-filled seven weeks of crafts, sports, games, experiments, swimming, field trips, and friendships!

Camp is based out of Memorial Park and is from 9:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday for 7 weeks. Camp check-in runs from 9:00am to 9:30am and check-out runs from 3:00pm to 3:30pm.

Before and After Camp Care

  • Before Care : $35.00 per week
  • After Care : $35.00 per week

Our Before and After Care program provides extended care for families needing a bit of extra flexibility during camp days. To participate, campers must be enrolled in the same camp days as the Before and/or After Care sessions.

  • Before Care begins at 7:30am and runs until the start of the regular camp day at 9:00am. Campers may not be dropped off earlier than 7:30am.
  • After Care begins at the end of the camp day at 3:30pm and runs until 5:00pm. Campers must be picked up by 5:00pm to avoid additional fees.

All Before and After Care sessions are held in the Jane Stover Lodge, providing a safe and supervised environment for your child. Please note: late pick-ups will result in an automatic fee being added to your account. If this fee is not paid by the following day, access to camp will be restricted. More than three late pick-ups may lead to removal from the After Care program.

Camp Staff

K.I.D.S. Camp is run by a dedicated team, including 1 Camp Director, 1 Camp Supervisor, 2 Lead Counselors, and 10-14 Camp Counselors, many of whom are former K.I.D.S. Campers. Our staff members are carefully chosen for their passion for working with children and are trained to provide a safe, fun, and enriching experience for all campers.

Each staff member undergoes a thorough screening process, including criminal background checks, child abuse clearances, and FBI clearances. In addition, all staff are required to complete three training orientations to ensure they are fully prepared for the camp season.

All camp counselors are certified in First Aid, and our Camp Supervisor is also trained in CPR. We are committed to providing high-quality care and a positive, safe environment where your child can thrive and make lasting memories.

Field Trips

Many of the weeks, K.I.D.S. Camp will offer field trips for the campers. These trips have limited spots and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for trips will be available the week before the scheduled trip and must be submitted and paid for at the time of registration.
