Post Date:05/08/2026 11:00 AM

Quakertown Community:

Quakertown Borough Council is issuing a Public Statement and supporting Exhibit concerning the events on February 20, 2026 arising out of the ICE Protest. While the Borough has largely remained silent regarding these events to allow the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office complete its investigation, this investigation is taking much longer than originally anticipated.

Due to the length of time involved, Quakertown Borough Council is now providing to its residents with a Statement and Exhibit which summarizes of the information currently available to it. Council recognizes the impact this incident has had on the community and encourages residents to read the full Statement and review the Exhibit

Hard copies are available to members of the public at Borough Hall (35 North Third Street, Quakertown, PA 18951; open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm).

Click here to read the full Statement and review the Exhibit.

Thank you.
