In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks, American Legion Post 242 will host a Patriots Day Ceremony on Friday, September 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the Park at 4th (Univest Performance Center).

The morning's program will feature a timeline of the events of September 11, followed by the tolling of a bell, an escort and processional of the 9/11 memorial, and static displays of military vehicles, police, fire, and emergency service equipment. Attendees will also hear firsthand accounts and testimonies from individuals involved in the rescue efforts and support operations, as well as witness a medevac helicopter landing.

The official Patriots Day Ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend as we gather to remember those who lost their lives, honor the heroes who served, and reflect on the enduring spirit of our nation.
